Possible layout of New Newport skatepark
As you know the current Newport bowls are being flattened to make room for some future soccerball training area where they are going to train the art of having affairs and getting away with it (but usually not). That's how football works right?
Here are some plans I found on the internet of what the new skatepark may look like, pretty sweet right.
Updates on Moos Situation
Things have progressed for the swansea trails. They're preparing to present their case to the council for the site to be made legit, but they also need some support and are asking people to email their views on Moos and why the spot should be protected by emailing jack.straw@swansea.gov.uk who is the Chief Executive for City & County of Swansea. Very similar in regards to the situation that emerged for Van Road Trails.
More info can be found on http://moostrails.blogspot.co.uk
Systematic, DIY goodness
Check out https://www.facebook.com/systematicbmx, a new project from the bmxer most likely to be asked if they have a copy of the big issue, expect some sick edits and sweet threads.
Some old skool for you
Ade Jones doing the rail by Cardiff uni back in the day filmed by the oldest of all the pupils from the old Skool, Denny
Bike stolen from Cardiff
Can everyone keep their eyes open for this bike or parts from it for sale. It was stolen from by the Job Centre in Cardiff city centre by the job centre on valentines day (some chav stole it as a gift for his girlfriend?)
Its an orange khe with a purple female proper front hub, khe lolita back hub, black fly cs brakes on the ss. a white brake cable and two chrome sun black boxes.
There is a reward if it's found so get in touch by replying to this with any info.
I will bum the person who found this.
New things to ride this summer
Here is some good news coming from Caerphilly about Van Road trails.
"Van Rd Trails Group (VRTG) are pleased to announce that they have signed a 10 year agreement with the Forestry Commission Wales (FCW) to manage the Dirt Jumps and Trails located on Van Rd in Caerphilly"
The trails should be finished and open to the public in early summer.
Keep up to date on their facebook page
A bit further afeild is a new concrete skatepark being built in Newtown, Mid Wales which looks like it's going to be sweet.
I'm glad more councils are deciding to use concrete now instead of the usual Ikea flatpack skatelite stuff

Max plaza edit
Max may be the most anoying bmxer in South Wales, but he sure has more than enough street moves that make up for that. Here is an edit filmed by Tudor in an hour at Cardiff Plaza.
New skatepark in North Wales
This site mostly covers South Wales, but here is some more Northely news. There is a new skatepark in Deeside North Wales. It looks packed with flowy ramps and well worth travelling to. I haven't got much more info at the moment so here is a photo of the layout.
